IBM ViaVoice was a range of language-specific continuous speech recognition software products offered by IBM. The current version is designed primarily for use in embedded devices. The latest stable version of IBM Via Voice was 9.0 and was able to transfer text directly into Microsoft Word.

The Millennium version features 3 characters like Woodrow, Brocklee and Chip, tho Chip is currently lost.

Online resurgence

ViaVoice was featured in Vinesauce Joel's Windows 98 Destruction. Shocked to see Woodrow appear, he in a scared attitude associates the character with BonziBUDDY. The meme from the stream "Submit the Flesh" became a meme afterwards, with the program itself being used for loud Mario meme stuffs.
