Agentpedia is a free online Microsoft Agent-focused wiki and encyclopedia by TMAFE. Anyone with internet connection is able to access Agentpedia with no restrictions, including users of VPNs or TOR nodes.

Written collaboratively by largely anonymous volunteers known as Agentpedians (or Frontierpedians), Agentpedia articles can be edited by anyone with Internet access, except in limited cases where editing is restricted to prevent disruption or vandalism. Since its migration from FANDOM on March 28th, 2021, it has become an essential knowledge base for everything Microsoft Agent. Agentpedia's rules are summarized in its Manual of Style.

While Agentpedia has developed many policies and guidelines, new editors do not need to be familiar with them before they start contributing. If you make a mistake, a fellow editor will more than likely fix it for you!

Anyone is allowed to contribute and add content to the wiki, as long as they follow the Manual of Style. The content must also be related to Microsoft Agent. American English is the official language of Agentpedia and is the standard for all articles. Content of Agentpedia must also follow the law of the United States and the laws of the state of Georgia.

Anyone can edit Agentpedia's text, references, and images. The quality of content is more important than who contributes it. The content must conform with Agentpedia's policies, including following all rules and guidelines set. Contributions based on personal opinions and libellous material are not allowed and will not remain. Agentpedia's software allows easy reversal of errors, and experienced editors watch and patrol bad edits.

History

The idea of a MediaWiki based Microsoft Agent wiki that was not hosted by FANDOM was proposed by TMAFE members in 2019. Initially, Frontierpedia used MediaWiki 1.32.0 on ShoutWiki, a wiki-farm service. However, confusion about MediaWiki led to TMAFE members supporting the FANDOM Konnor88/TMAFE Wiki. However, by March 2021, TMAFE members were displeased with the policies, restrictions, and feature issues on FANDOM. As a result, the first successful iteration of Frontierpedia was launched. As a result, the TMAFE Wiki, was renamed as "TMAFE Archive Wiki" after the migration. On July 31st, 2024, Frontierpedia rebranded into Agentpedia.

Predecessors

The current iteration was launched on July 31st, 2024 (77 days ago), while the first iteration, Frontierpedia V1, was launched on May 3rd, 2019. (1993 days ago).

Frontierpedia is preceded by the Konnor88/TMAFE FANDOM Wiki and the MS Agent FANDOM Wiki, which were launched on June 13th, 2018 (2317 days ago) and May 9th, 2018 (2352 days ago).
