Trivia
- According to John M. DeFino, ButterCup was created for his daughter's birthday.
- The capitalization in her name is incorrect; the C in "Buttercup" is meant to be lowercase.
- Buttercup was the only Powerpuff Girls Microsoft Agent character developed by John M. DeFino, since he never made Microsoft Agent characters for Blossom or Bubbles.
- However, there is a Bubbles Microsoft Agent, but it was made by Jinkler and uses different sprites.
- Unlike most classical Microsoft Agents, Buttercup does not have her own color table. Instead, she uses the Microsoft Office color table.
