Imp is a Microsoft Agent character released by E-Clips Animations as part of the Instant Messaging Personalities (IMP) program. His appearance is, as his name suggests, a blue imp with a purple hat, and purple clothing with black stripes.
Use in IMP
Imp serves as the mischievous mascot for the IMP program. He is used on the website for the IMP program,[1] and is also seen on the splash screen for IMP. His personality is similar to WartNose, a green goblin character previously developed by E-Clips. While not directly used in the program himself, Imp's character can be downloaded from the Microsoft Agent Ring character gallery.[2]

Trivia
- Imp was created in 2005.
- Imp is one of the only E-Clips characters to have his own program.
- It is unknown why the transparency color of the original Imp character is broken.
- As with most classical Microsoft Agents, he has his own color table to utilize multiple unique colors to make the character seem higher quality.
