Attune Prevent (also known as Kirby or Aveo) is a Microsoft Agent character released by Aveo, Inc. as part of the Aveo Attune software. He is one of the few non Microsoft-developed Microsoft Agent characters to have a known 1.5 and 2.0 version. His appearance is a police man.

Use in Aveo Attune

As his name suggests, Attune Prevent was supposed to give the user solutions to problems before they happen. The program was also bloated on some Dell laptops. However, the program itself became lost after the Aveo website expired sometime in 2002. In 2005 (3 years after the Aveo website went defunct), it was listed as a type of spyware for its associated software (similar to BonziBUDDY back in 2004).

Trivia

• Attune Prevent was created in 1999.
• Attune Prevent is one of the few non-Microsoft characters originally created in 1.5 who have a known 2.0 version. The other three are Al, Joe and Spaceman.
  • His character design and voice also differ between versions, as Aveo went to release a new version of Attune Prevent 4 months later to make him look like a pre-rendered Microsoft Agent.
• Attune Prevent originally used Adult Male #2 as his text-to-speech voice, but was swapped to a different voice in his 2.0 version for unknown reasons.
  • Like Audie, Earl, Marine and Pikachu, it is unknown what exact voice Attune Prevent is using.
  • It is also unknown if Attune Prevent also uses Adult Male #2 as his text-to-speech voice in his 1.5 version.
• Attune Prevent was replaced by Aveo Messenger in later versions of Aveo Attune.
• Attune Prevent has a typo in his Announce animation, which says "Annouce" instead of "Announce".
• As with most classical Microsoft Agents, he has his own color table to utilize multiple unique colors to make the character seem higher quality.
