Aveo Messenger (also known as Aveo) is a Microsoft Agent character released by Aveo, Inc. as part of the Aveo Attune software, replacing the Attune Prevent character in later versions. His appearance is a white man with brown hair and black dot eyes wearing a red hat, a red suit and gray shoes.

Use in Aveo Attune

As a replacement in later versions, Aveo Messenger was supposed to give the user solutions to problems before they happen. The program was also bloated on some Dell laptops. However, the program itself became lost after the Aveo website expired sometime in 2002. In 2005 (3 years after the Aveo website went defunct), it was listed as a type of spyware for its associated software (similar to BonziBUDDY back in 2004).

Trivia

  • Aveo Messenger was created in 2000.
  • As with most classical Microsoft Agents, he has his own color table to utilize multiple unique colors to make the character seem higher quality.
  • Aveo Messenger is the only one out of the two official Aveo characters that was not bundled with Microsoft Agent 1.5 and only has a Microsoft Agent 2.0 version. He also has some other differences, such as the lack of his voice.
    • However, his voice is in the WAV files.[2]
