TMAFE.COM is currently experiencing a false positive from Xfinity Safeguard, causing the main site to throw the error "SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG". If you happen to be an Xfinity user and are experiencing this error, remove the s from "https://", and click the "Proceed Anyway" button which will allow you to visit the site. This should hopefully be resolved once Konnor88 comes back online. - MadCreeper7611

This article or section contains content that used to be controversial about either a character or software, but was resolved in one way or another. While the controversy is solved, please do not harass anybody about the past actions they have committed. It is not worth it.
Reason: The original creator of Circus Pals, Laser Boy Studios, has a history of problematic behavior.
As of 2026, with JordyPorgie's ownership of Circus Pals on January 18th, 2026, using the program and the characters are relatively risk-free.

Circus Pals, also titled as the "Circus Pals Program", is a freeware desktop application that utilizes Microsoft Agent technology developed in late 2024[1]. It was originally created by Laser Boy Studios and released on circuspals.w10.site on October to November 2024, but is now being developed by JordyPorgie and MadCreeper7611. It was created to serve as a malware-free alternative to BonziBUDDY. However, unlike Bonzi, there would be multiple characters throughout each part of the program, but currently only one character, which is Caine, is present. It also allows the user to access TheWackyWatch.com easily through the program.

Usage

Circus Pals has a similar usage to BonziBUDDY Rewritten and BlobBUDDY. Users can utilize Caine's text-to-speech voice to have him say anything, have Caine sing songs to them, make him tell jokes or facts, have him play any one of his animations, play audio files, or run MASH scripts. He also has a calendar which allows users to schedule appointments with the program.

Reaction to the Laser Boy Studios controversy

Following the controversy on November 30th, 2025, Circus Pals announced on their Bluesky page that Circus Pals will become open source after 3.0[2]. A later announcement on their site on January 14th, 2026 stated, "This website and software will remain here for historical reasons, and for users still using Windows."

However, on January 17th, 2026, Laser Boy Studios announced on his YouTube community that under the request of MadCreeper7611, JordyPorgie, the Pomni shipper who rebuilt the program after the original was lost to an SSD failure[3], will take ownership of the Circus Pals program[4]. And the day after the announcement, JordyPorgie has become the new owner of the program and of the Circus Pals site, making Circus Pals no longer discontinued and affiliated with Laser Boy.

Trivia

  • Circus Pals used to be developed by Laser Boy Studios, but a year and a half later, he was replaced by JordyPorgie due to Laser Boy Studios being problematic.[5]
    • Before his replacement, Laser Boy Studios designed most of the program's UI and provided the majority of the dialog.
  • Circus Pals is based on MaxALERT Rewritten build 139, which is why some jokes and most facts were intact.
  • Circus Pals' themes and games were inspired by The Amazing Digital Circus and its characters and adventures.
  • Sometime in January 2025, Laser Boy Studios had lost the source code to the original Circus Pals program from an SSD failure[6], and had to end up delaying updates for it until a Pomni shipper named JordyPorgie recreated it from scratch on February.
  • The BFDI fact was written by Fourvoiceactor from Reddit[7].
  • Version 1.1.2 of Circus Pals was released the same day as the 4th episode of TADC called "Fast Food Masquerade".
    • Alongside, Version 2.2.1 was released the same day as the 5th episode of TADC, "Untitled".
    • Version 3.0.0 was also released the same day as the 7th episode of TADC, "Beach Episode".
  • The page for downloading the program rarely and temporarily disappears every now and then because of transfer failures.
