MaxALERT Reimagined (formerly known as MaxALERT Rewritten) is a freeware desktop application that utilizes Microsoft Agent technology developed in 2023. It was created by Konnor88 and released on TMAFE.COM on August 7th, 2023. [1] The program is a re-imagination of the original MaxALERT program by Bonzi Software as the original is lost with no screenshots available.
Development
Following the success of BlobBUDDY, the developer turned to making a new Microsoft Agent application. Many people in the community wanted to see a re-creation of the MaxALERT program, with one user in particular, CosmicToons, assisting in designing of assets and the majority of the voice lines. With CosmicToons' help, a MaxALERT Reimagined Beta became available on June 16th, 2023. Following a long development period, the first complete version, 1.00, was released on August 7th, 2023.[2]
On September 5th, 2024, MaxALERT Reimagined became open-source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Future releases of MaxALERT Reimagined are expected to remain proprietary. [3]

Trivia
- MaxALERT Reimagined is based off of BlobBUDDY build 139, which is why the build string in MaxALERT Reimagined is 1.0.139.x.
- CosmicToons designed most of the program's UI and provided the majority of the dialog.
- MaxALERT Reimagined used to be called MaxALERT Rewritten, but was soon renamed through CosmicToons' request.
- MaxALERT Reimagined, Anti-Grabify, and TenStartMenu Fixer are the only open source programs developed by TMAFE.
- The Mozilla Public License 2.0 used by MaxALERT Reimagined allows people to learn from the code and use the code themselves, but credit must be attributed to the original developer.
- MaxALERT Reimagined is able to launch the user's anti-virus through the "Launch Anti-Virus" feature upon selecting the user selecting their anti-virus directory.
- In older versions of MaxALERT Reimagined, it had a button that said "Scan for Viruses". However, the button was not functional due to the feature not being implemented yet.
- This button would soon be replace with the "Launch Anti-Virus" as it would have been hard for Konnor88 to implement an anti-virus in the program.
