DogAgent.com was a website by Dave Higham that focused on Microsoft Agent. Similar to TMAFE.COM, the website served as an information hub for Microsoft Agent, a download center for Microsoft Agent software, and at one point had an FTP directory for users to upload Microsoft Agent characters to the site.[1].
However, FTP functionality for DogAgent.com was disabled in 2003 with the FTP directory going down in 2004.[2] The domain was purchased and registered on June 1st, 2001, which is later than Dave's main website at the time, PepeDog.com. Unlike PepeDog.com, however, DogAgent was entirely focused on Microsoft Agent, as PepeDog.com served as both his personal website and the website for the Music Scripting Helper.
Directories
FTP
The DogAgent FTP directory became available in 2001 and is the first known website to have a file uploader dedicated to Microsoft Agent characters, a concept that would revived with the release of TMAFE's character uploader in 2020. However, likely due to bandwidth issues, the FTP directory was closed in 2003 before being inaccessible by 2004.
