TMAFE.COM is a website that focuses the preservation and distribution of material related to Microsoft Agent. The website functions as an information hub for Microsoft Agent, a download center for Microsoft Agent software, and a public character upload service for users to upload Microsoft Agent characters to the site. The domain was purchased and registered in August 2019 and has undergone several hosting migrations since its creation. The community-maintained wiki Agentpedia is also hosted as a subdomain under TMAFE.COM.

History

TMAFE.COM was first purchased on August 31st, 2019, and replaced the previous tmafe.6te.net domain that was briefly used when TMAFE was in the process of launching a website for the community. From its launch through early 2020, the site primarily served as information hub for the community and was hosted on 000webhost.

On March 2nd, 2020, the site introduced its ACS File Uploader, which allowed users to upload Microsoft Agent characters without requiring an account. This tool quickly became the primary method for which users of Microsoft Agent distributed ACS files, and members of the community gradually phased third-party services such as out MediaFire and Google Drive as it did not require a login and immediately lets users download the file directly from just the link. The rapid growth of uploaded content prompted a series of hosting changes: first from 000webhost to DreamHost, during which the "ms-agent-hosting-2" directory was created to accommodate the increasing number of files.

As uploads continued to expand, TMAFE.COM migrated to InfinityFree. While InfinityFree provided additional flexibility for the large amount of character files, the service periodically throttled resources due to the site’s growing demand, leading to performance issues. To address this, TMAFE.COM transitioned to Namecheap hosting on October 24, 2020, where it has remained since. Under NameCheap's hosting, TMAFE.COM grew to include more character directories, additional software, and Agentpedia.

In 2025, TMAFE purchased another server and domain (tmafemirror.org) to host ms-agent-hosting 1-4 and larger downloads that were previously on one server. The main server that hosts TMAFE.COM was also upgraded to improve sitewide performance on both the main domain and Agentpedia. As of 2025, TMAFE currently hosts over 20,000 files across the two servers, making it the largest Microsoft Agent repository in operation.
