Pepe is a Microsoft Agent character created by Dave Higham. He became available for download on his pepedog.com website in 2000 alongside the Music Scripting Helper.[1]. Shortly after his creation, the MUSH web page added songs for its three main characters, with the Pepe character being utilized for Elvis Presley songs.[2]

Trivia
- It is very likely that Pepe was the first character designed by Dave Higham as his website was based around Pepe.
- Unlike Blob, Pepe received an EXE installer alongside the Bruce and Bone characters.
- Pepe not only appears in the splash screen for MUSH, but it also used in the desktop icon for the program.
