Use in BlobBUDDY

Main article: BlobBUDDY

On June 4th, 2023, a virus-free alternative to BonziBUDDY was announced on Konnor88's YouTube channel.[2] This program, stylized as BlobBUDDY, featured Blob as the main character. Contrary to Bonzi's friendly nature, Blob was a more hostile character, despite BlobBUDDY not containing any malware. The first version of BlobBUDDY was finished on June 9th, 2023, and was available for download on the TMAFE website. This led to a surge in Blob's popularity, with many videos featuring the character and drawing comparisons to BonziBUDDY. BlobBUDDY received its first major update on August 9th, 2023, and was considered a major success in generating more interest in Microsoft Agent.
