Use in Microsoft Bob

Java was a guide in Microsoft Bob, a desktop shell initially released for for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 in 1995. The program featured a cartoonist-influenced interface, with Java being available to choose to guide the user through the operating system. However, upon Microsoft Bob's discontinuation in 1996, the Java character would not be utilized again.
