Shelly is a Microsoft Actor character that comes bundled with Microsoft Bob as one of the many guides developed by Microsoft Corporation. Her appearance is a green turtle with swirls on her shell, a brown backpack with the Microsoft Bob logo on it, pink round-framed glasses, short brown hair, a yellow sun hat, and a hiking stick.
Use in Microsoft Bob

Shelly was a guide in Microsoft Bob, a desktop shell initially released for for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 in 1995. The program featured a cartoonist-influenced interface, with Shelly being available to choose to guide the user through the operating system. However, upon Microsoft Bob's discontinuation in 1996, the Shelly character would not be utilized again.
