TMAFE.COM is currently experiencing a false positive from Xfinity Safeguard, causing the main site to throw the error "SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG". If you happen to be an Xfinity user and are experiencing this error, remove the s from "https://", and click the "Proceed Anyway" on the warning which will allow you to visit the site. This should hopefully be resolved once Konnor88 comes back online. - MadCreeper7611

Agent Magic (AM) (also known as the CyberBuddy Agent Magic Character Builder) is a desktop application developed by John M. DeFino to allow users to edit and compile their own Microsoft Agent character. Similar to the Microsoft Agent Character Editor by Microsoft Corporation, users can add a static BMP or GIF image to their character; they can also add sounds to the animations. Agent Magic builds the finished characters as ACS files.

Classical usage

Agent Magic was not a popular choice for creating Microsoft Agent characters, with the majority of people the Microsoft Agent Character Editor instead. While the majority of Microsoft Agent characters were created with the Microsoft Agent Character Editor, some characters such as Banana, Big Frog, and Blue Bug were created using Agent Magic. Its usage would mostly grow during the late 2000s, when characters such as Kinara were created.

Modern usage

This article or section contains controversial content about either a character or software. Even though the creator of the character or software is deemed controversial, it should be clear you should not harass anybody involved in the situation, as it makes problems worse.
Reason: Most modern Agent Magic characters are created by controversial people.
Make sure to download the modern characters with extreme caution.

Agent Magic is still currently used to make all new Microsoft Agent characters. However, most modern Microsoft Agent characters were created by people who sparked controversy in the past. Most notable examples are the Electric L and Ice Cream Cone. However, there are some modern Microsoft Agent characters that are created by non-controversial people, such as Fortune Cookie and Doory.

Trivia

  • It is unknown whether or not the Agent Magic program was discontinued, as there is no official statement on discontinuation.
    • However, a version 3 was in beta at some point, with a new Animation Studio being its main feature, but the version was never completely polished, and as a result was never released to the public.
